remedy for pcod

PCOD and Stress
Studies have suggested that regular practice of yoga can help treat polycystic ovarian syndrome. Since this is an endocrine disorder, regular practice of asanas and breathing exercises (pranayama) can help regulate polycystic ovary. Not only this, regular
the diet of the woman should be alkaline(if acidic,it causes PCOD)…so ample amount of uncooked food and soaked dry fruits should be taken….fasting for detoxification is necessary,therefore,fasting for a day or two at regular intervals is recommended.instead of milk take curd.in the morning take one spoonful of honey with lime juice in luke warm water.salt,chillies ,spices deep fried and fried products,sugar, tea coffee,maida,etc should not be taken……..do not permit constipation to take placefoods with predominance of vitamin C and vitamin E be consumed.thus, orange,amla,sprouted wheat are necessary…..in winters daily chew 5-6 leaves of garlic and drink milk over it…soup of jamun leaves be taken with honey.the roots of banyan tree be dried in the shade and ground into powder. after menstruation is over, it should be taken for 3 days continuously at night with milk.repeat the process till conception takes place.during menstruation, chew, basil leaves…6 grams of aniseed (saunf)powder be consumed with ghee for three months.it enables the women to conceive.mud pack on the lower abdomen,hip bath, wet girdle pack,and hot water enema be taken.maintain a gap of 6 months in intercourse ,it will provide rest to the reproductive organs
In yoga
sarvangasana,matsyasana,ardhmatsyendasana,paschimottanasanasalbhasana,trikonasana,surya mamaskar,marjariasana,shashankbhujang asana,katichakrasana,tolangulasana,ushtrasana,tadasana, chakrasana,all backward bending asana, are recommended.
do all pranayamas
  • in mudras do the foll-ashwini,vajroli,vipreet karniin
  • bandhas do the foll-maha and maha bandhasin
  • shat karma do the foll-agnisar kriya,nauli
  • do yoga nidra and meditation
 yoga practice can give boost to the overall health, thereby regulating all the internal organs, controlling weight, etc.
